In the years she spent away from society, Emily Dickinson cultivated an extensive garden. In it, she grew jasmine flowers, cornflowers, roses, and many other flowers, plants and herbs. These flowers appear repeatedly in her poetry so this blend had to be floral. Simpson & Vail created a delightful combination of jasmine tea and rose petals that brews to a light ecru cup with long green leaves and rose petal accents. This delicate tea hits you with a strong jasmine taste that’s sweetened and mellowed with the subtle flavours of the rose petals.

Allergens:
Simpson & Vail's facility is not a certified allergen-free or gluten-free facility.
Tree Nuts:
They inventory in their warehouse allergens (coconuts and almonds) that are used in a few of their blends. They take every precaution to prevent cross-contamination by using separate, dedicated scales, scoops and mixing bins for each allergen.
Gluten:
Teas: All their teas are gluten free.
Flavours: All flavours are gluten free.
The coconut & almonds they stock are gluten free.
Herbs: They make every effort to source gluten free herbs. Some of their herbal suppliers, using an over-abundance of caution, will not make any gluten free claims. That makes them unable to state with 100% certainty that all items in the building are gluten free.
