Where is my order confirmation?

Once you have placed an order, you should receive an email confirmation sent to the email address you provided at checkout. If, for some reason, you did not receive this email, please check your spam/junk folder. If a confirmation email is not in your spam/junk folder, please check the email address you provided at checkout for errors. If you require further assistance, please contact us at hello@thelitearygiftshop.co.uk.

When do you ship?

Items are usually shipped within 1 working day. This may increase to 2-3 working days during the Christmas period.

Orders placed after 2pm on Friday will be dispatched the following Monday (excludes Bank Holidays).

Where do you ship? 

We ship internationally.

EU & NORTHERN IRELAND

Due to the European Union's new GPSR, we no longer ship to the EU or Northern Ireland. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Can I send a gift to an alternate address?

Yes, you can! Simply provide the recipient's shipping address during checkout. Please ensure that the shipping address is correct, as we cannot be held responsible for missing orders. For non-UK addresses, please ensure the recipient is aware of possible customs charges.

How do you ship?

Items are shipped via Royal Mail. 

How much does shipping cost?

Orders over £35 are shipped free via Tracked 48. Orders over £100 are shipped free via Tracked 24. Shipping for orders under £35 starts at £2.50. Upgrades are available at checkout. Check out our Payment & Delivery page for more information. 

Do you accept returns?

Yes! We hope you will be happy with your purchase, but if, for any reason, you wish to return an item (excluding personalised items), please contact us at hello@theliterarygiftshop.co.uk within 30 days of receipt. Unfortunately, we cannot process requests after this time. Goods must be returned in an unused, unopened, undamaged, and resalable condition. The postage costs for returning the goods will be your responsibility. We recommend using a trackable service to return your goods as we cannot be held responsible should they be lost in transit.

Is it possible to cancel my order?

Indeed, you can cancel your order provided it has not yet shipped. If your order has already been dispatched, you will have to return it unopened and in its original packaging. After we receive it, we will initiate a refund. Please be aware that the refund will exclude the initial shipping fees.

Customs Clearance Fees

If customs clearance fees have not been paid, orders will be returned to us. Please note that in this instance refunds will not include postage costs. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the relevant fees are paid.
