Blue Plastic Cow: One Woman's Search for Her Birth Mother
Share
We had a great day at Memory Lane's Craft & Gift Fair at Gamble Hall, St Helens yesterday. Thank you to all those who braved the awful weather - it was so nice to meet you! We were also fortunate enough to meet the lovely Barbara Attwood, author of Blue Plastic Cow. The book chronicles Barbara's moving 26 year search for her birth mother. If you would like a personalised copy, Barbara will be attending Memory Lane's Craft & Gift Fair at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton on Sunday 13th November. It can also be purchased online here: Amazon and Waterstones.
Hello Barbara. My name is Mike Howl and I am a playwright from Prescot, and I am now writing my first book which is a true story about a prisoner of war camp in Huyton where German servicemen were kept during 1945/6/7 It is a wonderful story of peace and reconciliation and I would welcome the chance to here your advice on self publishing as that is something I am really struggling with at the moment. I was wondering if you could tell me when you will next be at either Whiston or St Helens Hospital or anywhere else on Merseyside so that I could call in for a chat. It really would be very much appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Mike Howl
