Agents of Timekeepers Incorporated, we need you! There has been a disruption in the timeline, and Mr William Shakespeare is suffering the consequences. While we're sure schoolchildren around the world would prefer it this way, we simply cannot allow it. You must rescue the barred Bard before it's too late!
Step back in time and immerse yourselves in the world of Elizabethan England. You and your fellow agents must work together to restore the reputation of William Shakespeare who has been accused of - gasp! - larceny and plagiarism! Use your combined powers of logic, wit, and perseverance to solve the puzzles and prove his innocence. If you fail, history will be rewritten.

Local Delivery — Customer Responsibilities
We offer local delivery Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), with time slots available 9am–11am and 11am–1pm. Once your delivery slot has been confirmed by email, please ensure the following:
- Someone is available to receive your order at the confirmed slot. If you are unable to be in, please contact us as soon as possible so we can rearrange
- Safe place requests must be made in advance by replying to your slot confirmation email. We cannot be held responsible for orders left unattended at your request
- Rearranging your slot — we'll always do our best to accommodate changes, but please give us as much notice as possible
- Failed delivery — if no one is available at the confirmed slot and we have not been notified in advance, a redelivery charge of £2.95 may apply

Delivery and Tracking
To ensure smooth delivery of your order, we strongly recommend tracking your parcel using the tracking information provided in your dispatch email.
If you know you'll be unavailable during the estimated delivery window, we encourage you to:
- Arrange a safe place for delivery with the courier
- Nominate a neighbour to receive the parcel
- Request collection from your local depot
- Schedule a redelivery at a convenient time
You can coordinate these options directly with the courier service using your tracking number. Please note that any additional fees charged by the courier for special delivery requests or multiple redelivery attempts may be passed on to you.
If Your Parcel Doesn't Arrive
If your tracking shows your order as delivered but you haven't received it, please check with neighbours and around your property, then contact us immediately. We're here to help resolve any delivery issues and will work with you and the courier to ensure you receive your order.
Mail Forwarding & Package Forwarding Services
Please note that we are unable to accept orders shipped to mail forwarding addresses, package forwarding services, or third-party shipping hubs (including but not limited to services such as Shop & Ship, MyUS, Stackry, or similar). This applies to any address that is operated by a forwarding company rather than being a direct residential or business delivery address.
Orders placed using a forwarding address will be cancelled and refunded in full prior to dispatch.
We appreciate your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions about whether your delivery address is eligible, please don't hesitate to contact us before placing your order.
International shipping rates are calculated during checkout.
USA
When you place an order for delivery to the US, duties will be clearly displayed and collected at checkout, ensuring that you incur no additional charges upon receipt of your goods.
EU & Northern Ireland
Due to the European Union's new GPSR, we no longer ship to the EU or Northern Ireland. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Customs Charges
Please be aware that customers are responsible for any local charges and taxes that may be applicable before goods can be received. These costs are not included in the purchase price.
Packaging
All of our packaging is eco-friendly; however, we understand that some items may require extra protection due to their fragility. In such cases, we may make an exception and use packaging materials that provide the necessary cushioning and support to ensure safe delivery. To do our part for the environment, we may occasionally reuse packaging.
Split Shipments
Please note that if your order contains items of different sizes, it may be necessary to split your order into multiple shipments to ensure safe delivery. Rest assured, you will not be charged any additional shipping fees for split orders - you'll only pay the shipping charge (if applicable) that was calculated at checkout. We'll keep you informed with tracking information for each shipment so you can monitor all parts of your order.
Invoices
To save paper, we do not automatically include invoices with orders. If you would like one to be included, please leave a note at checkout or contact us via email as soon as possible.

Please note: Local delivery is not a same-day service. Delivery slots are scheduled in advance and will be confirmed by email once your order has been placed.

Please note that the shipping costs do not include import fees and taxes. Depending on your country's regulations, you may be subject to customs charges upon receipt of your order. These charges are determined by your local customs office and are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information on potential charges.
Customs Clearance Fees
If customs clearance fees have not been paid, orders will be returned to us. Please note that in this instance, any return to sender fee incurred will be deducted from your refund total. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the relevant fees are paid.
Returns & Refunds
We hope you will be happy with your purchase, but if, for any reason, you wish to return an item (excluding personalised items), please contact us at hello@theliterarygiftshop.co.uk within 30 days of receipt. Unfortunately, we cannot process requests after this time.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt and receive a full refund including your original shipping cost. If you return an item after this 14-day cooling-off period, the original shipping cost is non-refundable. Return postage is your responsibility in all cases unless the item is faulty or damaged.
- Goods must be returned in an unused, unopened, undamaged and resalable condition
- The postage costs for returning the goods will be your responsibility (unless faulty or damaged). We recommend using a trackable service to return your goods as we cannot be held responsible should they be lost in transit
- A returns form must be included with your package. You can download the form here. If you are unable to print the form, please include a note with the required information
- Once we have received your goods, we will check to ensure they meet our returns requirements. Refunds will then be processed to the original payment method
We reserve the right to refuse a refund should these terms not be met.
Damaged or Faulty Items
Should your item arrive damaged or faulty, please get in touch as soon as possible. It may not be necessary to return the item for an exchange or refund. In most cases, a photograph of the issue will suffice. In the case of a refund, initial shipping costs will be reimbursed along with the original purchase price. Should a faulty item need to be returned, we will refund the cost of return shipping upon receipt of the item.
