    Shipping & Packaging

    We aim to process and ship orders within one working day. This may increase to 2-3 working days during the Christmas period. Please bear this in mind when ordering.

    UK orders over £35 will be shipped FREE via Royal Mail Tracked 48.

    UK orders over £100 will be shipped FREE via Royal Mail Tracked 24.

    Shipping for UK orders under £35 starts at just £1.50.

    All of our packaging is eco-friendly. In order to do our bit for the environment we may, on occasion, reuse packaging.

    To save paper, we do not automatically include invoices with orders. If you would like one to be included, please leave a note at checkout or contact us via email as soon as possible.

    International Shipping & Customs Information

    EU & NORTHERN IRELAND

    Due to the European Union's new GPSR, we no longer ship to the EU or Northern Ireland. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

    Shipping costs for international orders depend on your locality and the weight of your order and will be calculated during checkout.

    Please note that the shipping costs do not include import fees and taxes. Depending on your country's regulations, you may be subject to customs charges upon receipt of your order. These charges are determined by your local customs office and are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information on potential charges.

    Customs Clearance Fees

    If customs clearance fees have not been paid, orders will be returned to us. Please note that in this instance refunds will not include the initial postage costs paid and any return to sender fee incurred, and will be deducted from your refund total. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the relevant fees are paid.

    We hope you will be happy with your purchase, but if, for any reason, you wish to return an item (excluding personalised items), please contact us at hello@theliterarygiftshop.co.uk within 30 days of receipt. Unfortunately, we cannot process requests after this time.

    • Goods must be returned in an unused, unopened, undamaged and resalable condition 
    • The postage costs for returning the goods will be your responsibility. We recommend using a trackable service to return your goods as we cannot be held responsible should they be lost in transit
    • Please include a note with your return stating your order number and reason for return
    • Once we have received your goods, we will check to ensure they meet our returns requirements. Refunds will then be processed to the original payment method

    We reserve the right to refuse a refund should these terms not be met.
