The brewed cup is a delicately balanced blend with a reddish amber colour and a fruity, heady, sassy taste. The combination of pineapple, vanilla and orange dance playfully on the tongue. The addition of cloves brings a new depth to this taste, while the hibiscus adds to the fruity flavour and adds a reddish tinge to the amber cup. There is a mild astringency and a lingering fruit/spice taste on the tongue.
Ingredients
- Black teas from China and Sri Lanka, hibiscus flowers, orange peel, cloves, orange blossoms, natural pineapple flavour, vanilla flavour, and natural orange spice flavour. Allergen: Hibiscus may be intercropped with peanuts. Occasionally, fragments of peanut shells may be present
- Certified Kosher
- Brew tea at 212º - steep for 2-3 minutes
- 28g pouch of loose tea makes approximately 10-12 cups

Simpson & Vail's facility is not a certified allergen-free or gluten-free facility.
Tree Nuts:
They inventory in their warehouse allergens (coconuts and almonds) that are used in a few of their blends. They take every precaution to prevent cross-contamination by using separate, dedicated scales, scoops and mixing bins for each allergen.
Gluten:
Teas: All their teas are gluten free.
Flavours: All flavours are gluten free.
The coconut & almonds they stock are gluten free.
Herbs: They make every effort to source gluten free herbs. Some of their herbal suppliers, using an over-abundance of caution, will not make any gluten free claims. That makes them unable to state with 100% certainty that all items in the building are gluten free.
GMO's:
Their teas do not contain ingredients that have been genetically modified.

Shipping & Packaging
We aim to process and ship orders within one working day. This may increase to 2-3 working days during the Christmas period. Please bear this in mind when ordering.
UK orders over £35 will be shipped FREE via Royal Mail Tracked 48.
UK orders over £100 will be shipped FREE via Royal Mail Tracked 24.
Shipping for UK orders under £35 starts at just £1.50.

All of our packaging is eco-friendly. In order to do our bit for the environment we may, on occasion, reuse packaging.
To save paper, we do not automatically include invoices with orders. If you would like one to be included, please leave a note at checkout or contact us via email as soon as possible.

Due to the European Union's new GPSR, we no longer ship to the EU or Northern Ireland. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Shipping costs for international orders depend on your locality and the weight of your order and will be calculated during checkout.
Please note that the shipping costs do not include import fees and taxes. Depending on your country's regulations, you may be subject to customs charges upon receipt of your order. Customs Clearance Fees
If customs clearance fees have not been paid, orders will be returned to us. Please note that in this instance refunds will not include the initial postage costs paid and any return to sender fee incurred, and will be deducted from your refund total. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the relevant fees are paid.
Returns & Refunds
We hope you will be happy with your purchase, but if, for any reason, you wish to return an item (excluding personalised items), please contact us at hello@theliterarygiftshop.co.uk within 30 days of receipt. Unfortunately, we cannot process requests after this time.
- Goods must be returned in an unused, unopened, undamaged and resalable condition
- The postage costs for returning the goods will be your responsibility. We recommend using a trackable service to return your goods as we cannot be held responsible should they be lost in transit
- Please include a note with your return stating your order number and reason for return
- Once we have received your goods, we will check to ensure they meet our returns requirements. Refunds will then be processed to the original payment method
